Today, we‘d like to talk about the game system of Menya Dragon Ramen NewBranch as a first shot.

■What is Menya Dragon NewBranch?
First of all, we have to start with what Menya Dragon NewBranch actually is.
Menya Dragon Ramen is a blockchain-linked game based on the theme of [Play to Earn] released on the PlayMining platform in October 2022.
We will soon reach our 1.5 year anniversary in April, and will still continue our service for the title.

Menya Dragon Ramen NewBranch is the first title for the glow of Fly Penguin Inc.’s blockchain-linked game, with the base of Menya Dragon Ramen, but adding minor changes to the system and specifications on different platforms.
For this title, Menya Dragon Ramen NewBranch, we are looking forward to a different improvement from the PlayMining version as the branch grows while keeping its basic play style.

■ About the difference of the System
In Menya Dragon Ramen NewBranch, there are some same parts and different parts on the system.

1. The basic game system/flow is the same
The overall flow of the game hasn’t changed, hire and level up Employees, clear the dungeon with Employees to get ingredients, cook Ramen with ingredients and earn the prize.
Same for the battle system, forming your own party up to 5 Employees with the Auto Battle.

2.The Stats of Employees
There are some Employees with different Stats or skill efficiency.
Regarding this, we are/will be adjusting based on the total of Employees releasing schedule, balancing based on user’s feedback.
We will make all Employees stats and details public on DISCORD. So, you can always check them before purchasing Employees.

3. About earning Tokens
As before, this game is also based on the idea of [Play to Earn], you could get Tokens throughout the gameplay.
In Menya Dragon Ramen NewBranch, we would like you to have fun with earning Token itself. Thus, we do not want you to directly earn Tokens in RBA or Work Rewards. Instead, we are planning to implement a Lottery in which you are guaranteed to get Tokens. And you can get Tickets for the Lottery in RBA or Work Rewards.
With this feature, we will try to offer users with few NFT possessions to earn big tokens, and users with much NFT could enjoy new excitement.


4.About Schedule of NFT Sale and Release
In other to keep the value of NFT, in Menya Dragon Ramen NewBranch, we are adjusting the implementation of NFT frequency.
Fist NFT Sale from Fly Penguin on release is planned to be few kinds of NFT Employees so far.
You could still get them via Lottery or Succession in game.

By keeping the value of NFT, we are hoping to keep the value on secondary sale as well.
We will keep adjusting even after the launch, making sure that NFT earned in the game could keep its value.

5.About Features not implemented on Launch
There are some features already in Menya Dragon Ramen, but not on launch of Menya Dragon Ramen NewBranch.
A list of features not in so far is below

・Mystery Dungeon
・Expand the Skill Slot
・NFT Power UP feature (earning and using Menyacult)
・NFT Burn

We will continue our service and look for the proper timing to implement those features.

6. About Ramen Battle Arena
In Menya Dragon Ramen, competing in the ranking by winning the battle is the main feature of the RBA.
We were concerned about it getting too thrilled during all its terms since [win and lose] means a lot in the RBA.
In order to improve this, we made some change on the RBA system.
We will provide detailed information through another Director Letter, so please wait for our update.

■Conclusion
By following the current game system and revising the rewards design, with the launch of Menya Dragon Ramen NewBranch, we hope to bring more exciting experiments of Menya Dragon Ramen.
We have both minor changes and major changes on features, so please wait for our launch.
